Buying into an EV technology JV with Leading Car Manufacturers
Cogitant helped this client complete due diligence on an Electric Vehicle charging technology business, prior to successfully buying a substantial stake. Technology DD had a broad and significant scope in this project, as the target's products and services were all digital in nature. Mike completed initial information gathering and review of materials presented in a Virtual Data Room by the target, before engaging directly with the target's technology team and business leadership. Mike co-ordinated efforts with other client team members and prepared a comprehensive due diligence report, detailing risk areas and potential mitigation approaches. The deal was approved and completed in March 2021.
